Disclaimer and Third-Party Job Listings Notice
This notice explains where SpellJob's job listings come from and the limits of our responsibility for them.
Where listings come from
- Third-party job sources. Most listings are supplied by job boards and job aggregators through their published data feeds (APIs). Current sources: JobLookup.
- SpellJob employers. Some listings are posted directly by employers on SpellJob and are marked “Posted on SpellJob”. Our team reviews these before they go live.
How we display third-party listings
- We show only the information the source provides. We never add or invent salaries, employers, locations or other details. If a detail isn't shown, the source didn't supply it.
- Some sources provide only a summary of the job. In that case we link to the full listing.
- Salaries labelled “est.” are estimates produced by the job source, not the employer.
- We remove jobs from search results when they expire or are withdrawn by the source. Listings are refreshed regularly but may occasionally be out of date.
- Jobs that appear in more than one source are de-duplicated where we can detect it.
Applying
“Apply now” on a third-party listing takes you to the job source's or employer's website. SpellJob does not receive or store what you submit there, and that organisation's terms and privacy policy apply.
Our responsibility
We take reasonable care with the sources we use and act promptly on reports of problems, but we do not verify every listing and cannot guarantee that a vacancy is genuine, accurate, still open or suitable for you. We are not responsible for the content of third-party websites or the actions of employers and job sources, except where the law says otherwise.
Report a problem
If a listing looks misleading, discriminatory or fraudulent – especially if it asks you for money – please tell us at info@spelljob.com. We will investigate and remove it from SpellJob where appropriate, and may report it to the source. If you have lost money or shared bank details, report it to Report Fraud (formerly Action Fraud) and contact your bank straight away. JobsAware also offers free advice on job scams.
